Bose Questions....

Can anyone with bose in a 97-03 GP talk to me....

The rear deck panel has 4 speakers? If I remember right, two are 6x9's, and two are round ones.

The g/f's car is non bose, she has an aftermarket deck, and I'd like to change her rear deck panel to the setup of a bose system, then run the two smaller round speakers and the fronts off the deck, and get some pretty decent 6x9's, and run them with a small amp.

Opinions?

I know I'd need a new rear deck cover with openings for 4 speakers.

How are the smaller ones mounted in the back?

Is this even possible?

Re: Bose Questions....

If the rear deck is not setup for the Bose speakers, the only cut out will be for the 6 X 9 speakers on the metal portion of the rear deck. Since my GP did not the Bose system I can only make a educated guess on how the round speakers may be mounted. But if the round speakers are mounted to the rear deck cover then it would be much easier to mount the round speakers. If you have to cut the metal deck it is going to harder to mount the speakers.

Re: Bose Questions....

Hmmm, I thought I saw a small 4" cut out in the back deck lid for speakers, but I could be wrong. I will have another look.
