Thinking of selling some goodies

Hey folks.

I'm in need of a little extra cash at the moment and I've been thinking of parting with some of my modelling collection. I have a Tamiya MP4/6 that I was going to start (glued the engine block together then other thing took over), and I picked up a Perfect Parts kit, the Formula Perfect book, the Marlb and Goodyear decal sets, and a Thunder Valley 'Formula Perfect' kit (no two-year wait...). I'm going to put it all on ebay in the next day or two but I'm not sure if I should sell the TVF1 kit and the PP together or split it up? And is there still and interest for these things, I've not seen any on ebay.

I also have the FW13b with a Formula Perfect kit to sell too, but I think they'll be going together.

I can't answer your question as to interest in those specific items, but can comment on eBay. Its been dead all summer long! I usually track prices for euro cars, and people haven't been buying or selling. It's just been asian model shops on eBay.

I would list them individually and offer combined shipping. Let people bid on only whatever they want. Selling them as a set is too expensive to be attractive.

I'd agree. For me personally the higher price point just seems to put me off towards making the bid.

Re: Thinking of selling some goodies

If anyone's interested, I've put the FW14B kit up on ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/18071912083

The rest will be up once my ebay account is upgraded. I've gone through my collection and it pains me to get rid of these but I know I can't get the time to work on the anymore. I'll but putting these up in the next week or so:
  • Tamiya Ferrari FXX (Black Version) with the Scale Motorsports Super Detail Kit
  • Tamiya Ferrari F1-2000 with the Top Studio Super Detail Kit and SMS C/F template decals
  • Tamiya McLaren MP4/13 with the Top Studio Super Detail Kit and SMS C/F template decals
  • Tamiya McLaren MP4/5B with the Studio 27 Detail Kit and Tabu Designs decals Click here
  • Tamiya Ferrari F60 with the Acu.Stion Full Kit (Kimi version) Click here
  • Tamiya Ferrari Enzo with the Acu.Stion detail set Click here
  • Tamiya Ferrari F50 with the Acu.Stion 5-part detail set Click here
  • Tamiya Ferrari F40 with the ST27 & Acu.Stion detail set Click here
  • Tamiya MP4/6 with the TVF1 Formula Perfect detail set, Tabu decals Click here
  • And the Perfect Parts kit along with the Formula Perfect ref book
If you're interested, or any questions give me a shout. I'll probably post again once I've got all the photos taken and things online.
