Hatchback: handle broke

How do I open the hatch to fix it? I don't see a release lever anywhere, but I don't know if I have one.

Re: Hatchback: handle broke

On a 93 hatchback I worked on, there was a rear-hatch release lever down by the driver's seat, next to the driver's door. If there is nothing there, they may have moved it to a button inside the glove box, like some Toyotas. Cant you open the hatch using the door key?

Re: Hatchback: handle broke

the key only unlocks it, there is a handle you use to open it, and it broke while I was lifting it.
