door handle broke
My outside driver door handle broke the other day. When I pull up on the handle it just sticks there and the door doesnt open. Is this a problem with the door handle or some other mechanism inside? The inside door handle works and so do the locks. The outside lock didnt work when I bought the car, but I just used the alarm to lock and unlock the door. So do I need to buy a new door handle? How hard is it to replace one? Are any of these the type i would need?
handle handle does this mean I'll need a different key for the driver door? How much would it be to take it to a shop to do? Will I need to mess with any electrical wiring or anything for the power locks or alarm? Hehe sorry for all the questions on such a lil issue, but it is do damn annoying having to open the driver door from the passenger side. It's also really embarrasing

I know what you mean! About having to get in from the other side of the car!! Everybody laughs! I went to open my door the other day and it just BROKE right off!! To me it sounds like its something on the inside like the handle jammed,stuck or something? But then again I probably dont have any clue??

i had the same problem recently and i fixed mine yesterday....n yes it is embarrasing goin through the passenger side i did it 4 about a week.... the part that broke on was the left hinge u could c it from the outside when lifting it....its juss plastic....chyrsler wanted 100 bucks 2 replace this so i decided to take it apart n fix it myself....1st u must take off the inside door panel..2nd u must lossen the 2 10mil bolts holding the door handle in place...ones easy 2 get to on the side...the other is difficult ...make sure ur window is all the up...doin this did not mess up my alarm or kewyless entry or locking....after i got the handle out i simple drilled a whole from 1 end to the other n replaced it with a screw..its cheap...u cant notice it because it hiden n it saves u 100 bucks

broken doorhandles
yea a doorhandle broke on my car a couple months back the whole handle just broke off. lucky it was the passenger side door so i didnt have to go threw climbing across lol. But i just went to the junkyard and picked up the handle pretty cheap i think around 10 bucks got home sanded it primered and painted it black. U guys should check out local junk yards for spare parts i do it alot now
