changing fluids in the transfer case

Can I also change my fuilds in my transfer case as well on this same truck 2003 gmc 5.3 4x4 z71 with a automatic transfer case. Can I also do this at home to in order to save myself some cash rather than take it to a dealership and in up spending a forture. Thanks

Re: changing fluids in the transfer case

Of course you can do it at home!

You need to locate the drain plugs and fill points and work out the correct level.
Make sure you do it on a flat surface, and be aware that filling it could be difficult if it uses a side mounted fill plug.
