Re: fluids for the transfer case
You can use any 80w-90 gear oil for the rearend and front differential. Pretty sure you can use the same in the transfer case. A buddy of mine uses synthetic and claims he never has to touch it again.

Re: fluids for the transfer case
On my 90 K1500, the transfer case uses Dextron-III tranny fluid. My 2000 Yukon takes Auto-Trak Fluid.
I am pretty sure it takes Dextron-III for the transfer case on a 97. //2000CAYukon |

Re: fluids for the transfer case
Use Dextron in the T/C. 80W-90 is fine for the frontend and rearend but NOT that transfer case. Add limited slip additive if you have one in the rear.

Re: fluids for the transfer case
I've used their oil in my wifes Neon for a while now. Its great stuff. The car always had some lifter noise on startup until the oil warmed up ( all neons do). I put this stuff in along with their filter, while it was about 30F outside. Started it up and was completely quiet ever since. Havent tried their tranny fluid yet, but i feel real confident now about their stuff.
