Knock Knock!!
Hey everybody! The ole '93 cherokee sport is still operating authoritatively, but has today developed a knock in the top end at idle and low RPM's, huh? I figger maybe a loose rocker arm or worst case bent push rod. At 186,000 is this common? I really don't know any jeep owners round here to ask about it and the dealer, however helpful, always wants me to bring it in for observation. If you got some clues, clue me in!! thanks

Well, checked out all the rockers and pushrods. Everything is tight and oiling like it should, and so signs of exhaust leaks either. where to now??

Re: Knock Knock!!
I'd suspect the lifters. My 04 developed lifter tick at about 85k. Goes away at higher rpm or once it's warmed up. sound familiar?
