Re: Found my tranny code, please help
A bad VSS can cause many different problems with transmission like strange shifting behavior, incorrect (bouncy) speedometer reading, harsh shifts and low fuel economy (thanks to Windstartled).
The best thing would be to have it replaced or do it yourself, it is a bit of a pain but with some patience it can be done. Oscar.

Re: Found my tranny code, please help
Vehicle Speed Sensor is located on the back side of the transmission.....right over one of your catalytic converters.
It is held in with 1 bolt and has an electrical connection. Make SURE to get the correct one for YOUR vehicle....... I made it sound easy....but it is NOT easy to change, due to its location. You can barely get your fingers onto it. If you have the version with the speedometer cable connected to it....(mechanical speedometer), you can disconnect the speedometer cable at the "intermediate" location, under the flex hose that goes from the air cleaner to the throttle body. Do NOT confuse this with the TSS Turbine Speed Sensor, which is mounted on the side of the transmission case, next to where the driver's side driveshaft comes out. THIS sensor measures the speed of the shaft that comes out of the torque converter and goes into the gear input side. As mentioned, a bad VSS can cause all kinds of problems as the PCM does not know how fast the vehicle is moving, so it does not know how to shift the transmission.

Re: Found my tranny code, please help
Absolutely get them to make good on the warranty.......you might get lucky and have that VSS take care of the other codes, but that Torque Converter Clutch stuck code concerns me as that can be a bit expensive to deal with.
