Twin turbo and single Turbo setups!!

Prices ranging from $3800 to $10000!! Why do little bolt ons that wont give you more than a couple extra hp's when you can double you HP's in a matter of hours!!

Turbo anyone?? Questions anyone??

With the new SQ Trim Vortech out in kit form starting at $1600, it's hard to justify a turbo to me, anyway. Aftercooled superchargers can be purchased for that price as well, and honestly, they're making just as much power (all the stock block can take) with a historically good reliability factor.

There have been a few turbo kits for the 5.0s over the years, and just as many manufacturers/suppliers folded leaving their clients with little support.

What kind of turbos are you using?

With that goto www.itsturbo.net

S/C's are nothing compared to the turbo. What are you going to do when you want to upgrade down the road when you have a s/c.....notta except maybe pulleys to sqeek out 10-15 hp's. Skies the limit when you have a turbo.......itsturbo is now signed with Pro-m so i would definitly consider them excellent.
Their single turbo kit for the 4.6L broke the record in Detroit!! You can check them out! If you ever get interested in buying the turbo kit (they also have the twin turbo kit!) give me a ring. I distribute for them and get a lower price from them. If you buy direct you will pay more.....thats completely up to you though!

Thanks, Nathan Brown

Twin Turbo 5.0

Hello all. Iam the owner of a 79 mustang and was wondering about a 5.0 swap.. Has anyone done it? If so any pointers would be appreciated.. Also, my buddy has a fox body GT drop top with a twin pumper setup.. I believe that it is from ICON Turbo. Intercooled and I believe he has about 600-650hp (Crank) Any help would be appreciated..

Hey welcome to the board. Take a look at this other post I made. It should be similar to what you want to do. If you have any other questions, please feel free to make a post.

Somewhat the same... I see. I think I am going to go with Carb. rather than EFI.. That is more than I wanted to dig into.. Other than that issue, thanks for the help
