We got this sensor missing from the top of the engine (left-side, right above the valve cover, picture attached).
There are two sensors of this kind - one in the front (which is missing from our engine) and another in the back. Engine runs fine but the Check Engine is on. Unfortunately we don't have a scanner for this type of engine here in Europe. Does anyone know what kind of sensor is this so we can order it from a parts store? |

It looks the the capacitor for the ignition coils. The 2.7s have one on each side. All it does it store excess voltage from the coils.
