1997 Geo Tracker parts needed

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get a crankshaft, pulley and bolt for my 97 Tracker (big shocker, I know) or if it's even worth it to attempt to fix. Any suggestions are helpful.

Thanks!

Re: 1997 Geo Tracker parts needed

I found a NOS crankshaft at an old independent parts store for very cheap but it was just luck that I stumbled on to it. In my search I did notice that, I think it was Auto Zone, advertised a CS for it up in the $300.00 region. That was the only source I could on an internet search, all others that said they had them didn't stock them anymore.

My Tracker runs just fine now with the replacement CS but of course, now it has developed a coolent leak somewhere around where the alternator mounts. Its always something else with these cars, have had a love/hate relationship with it for ten years and I'm just finally worn out with it. It's for sale now.
