Re: 99 regal door lock relay location?
Starting from the left in the relay cluster behind the glove box.
1. Accessory Time Delay relay. 2. Rear Window Defogger relay. 3. Rear Compartment Lid Release relay. 4. Door Lock relay.

Re: 99 regal door lock relay location?
I see the online suppliers list 2 different relays for door locks, and have read previous posts on earlier models that have a relay under drivers seat..anyone know if there is a relay under seat or location of a second relay?

Re: 99 regal door lock relay location?
No in a '99 Regal LS/GS there is only one door lock relay and in the location as the previous poster explained. The Body Control Module (BCM) is the brain behind power door lock operation. Since the driver's side door is working the door lock relay is probably OK. The other relays (located in BCM) for the remaining doors unlock and lock are driven by transistors located in the BCM Module.

Re: 99 regal door lock relay location?
Exactly what I found too. The door lock schematics shows two more relays in the circuit but they're part of the BCM.
Get it scanned, there may be some DTC's stored in memory.

Re: 99 regal door lock relay location?
If I buy a used bcm with same part number is it plug and play, no programming required correct?

Re: 99 regal door lock relay location?
Assuming that it's not a wiring fault, you can get a new BCM but you'll need to take it to the Dealer for programming. VIN, mileage, engine hours etc. need to be transferred over then Theft Deterrent Re-learn performed.
As far as I know the ignition key code can only be programmed into the BCM once so a used one may or may not work. I'd ask a local Dealer what options they have. Maybe some other members have more info on this.
