1988 buick regal cooling fan relay location
hi,
i have a 1988 buick regal custom and my primary cooling fan will no work at all. i have checked the power to it and its fine, also i have checked the fan by jupimg it, its fina as well. I asked the local parts stores about a cooling fan relay, but they say it doesnt have one and cant tell me much. Im pretty sure it has to have a switch to tell the fans when to cut on /off. I hope someone can tell me if it has one or something like it, and maybe even where its located. thanks |

The fan relays are located under the hood on the left side (passenger side). There is a plastic cover next to the fender with the relays underneath it.
I'm not sure if all cars came with a label on the cover. On my car there is a label that says "electrical center" and has a diagram describing the function of each fuse and relay. Last edited by PFJ5K; 04-19-2005 at 09:27 AM. |

Re: 1988 buick regal cooling fan relay location
I Agree your fan relays are located in the "Underhood Electrical Center" get a chiltons or haynes manual autozone or advance will have them provided that your diagram has been removed. open the hood and on YOUR Left hand side about a foot from the headlights will be a plastic cover with relays and fuses
