Re: 2000 Silverado rear suspension issue

Is there a tool box, or lots of weight on the drivers side?

What about in the last 10-years?
Are you the orignal owner?
Visual Inspect the Spring + mounting bracket on rear drivers side, and compare with the rear
passenger side.

Re: 2000 Silverado rear suspension issue

You prob have a broken leaf spring. Move common with fords but I've seen them all break. Check to see if all of them line up and are not loose, they usaully break in the middle by the axle.

the fuel tank and you are on the driver side. this side does have more weight. Is this 2wd ?? If so the front springs sag on all these type vehicles.

with 4wd if the front is adjusted correctly by the torsion bars, then replace the rear springs [both sides] and make sure the shocks are good or replace because bad shocks or over loading will damage the leaf springs.

with aftermarket lift kits , the blocks used will cause this .
