Heater Fan Stays Running
Hi,
I have a '97 Regal GS. Even with the car off, key out, the heater blower runs by itself. I start the car, push the console switch to off, then hear the A/C clutch engage and the blower motor goes to high speed. I push the switch where I can adjust the temp(on basically) and the A/C clutch disengages. While I was under the hood, car off, key out, the fan started, then stopped then started. I pulled the hi blower fuse when I got to work today. Hopefully nothing else too current hungry is going to be running behind the scenes. The car seems possessed. Any ideas? Anyone experience this? Thanks, Steve |

Re: Heater Fan Stays Running
Sorry, I didn't read past post to this same problem. It looks like A bad blower control module, correct? Can someone tell me how to access this module. Is it under the dash? Can it be accessed through a removed glove box?
Thanks, Steve |

Re: Heater Fan Stays Running
Since this is GS do you have the digital climate control? You have a bad blower motor control module or blower motor resistor if manual HVAC. Remove the blower and towards back firewall you will see it.

![]() Please keep posts relevant and on-topic to the particular year and model GM car. This is a GM Buick Regal "W" body" forum. The blower motor control module on a '97 Regal GS is located in the cabin under the dash after the blower motor is removed and not under the hood like the GM "H" body cars.
