Slow cranking 2000 Bonny

I have a 2000 bonneville with 140k. Just a couple days ago, the engine would not crank over like normal. It almost does not crank at all. I checked the alternator output and see 14.6v. The battery, and the leads to the fuse panel are all reading 12.4v. I do not believe it is the battery for those reasons. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Re: Slow cranking 2000 Bonny

I disconnected the negative cable, and using my Fluke set at 10amp, I found there was a reading of .76. Does this mean the battery is bad, or is something else draining it?

Re: Slow cranking 2000 Bonny

How old is the battery?
If > 4-years, replace battery.
If < 4-years, have the battery charged & load tested.
