stripped bolt what do i do!!

Hey everyone i stripped a bolt on a part of my distributor the distributor rotor to be exact i cant get the f***ing thing to give anyone have n e sugestions about a stripped bolt or is there n e tools for this problem??? please help!

are you talking about the screw that holds the rotor to the distributor. if so just pull out the distributor, put it on a table, and get a power drill(a good one) set it to a low speed and while having some one hold the distributor go slow with the drill. the drill should have enough torque to break the screw loose if you put enough pressure on it. the same thing happened to me. if that doesn't get it out the you'll probably have to drill it out the re-tap it. the drill should work, it got a lot of frozen bolts out for me.

here's wut u do...get jack stands. get a big hammer...hit the bolt as hard as u can until ur car falls off the jack stands (that is the only way u'll kno if ur hitting the car too hard) :hehehe:

J/K...try 94's plan, sounds like wut i'd do.

take the dizzy out and put it in a vice....take a good sharp chisel and hammer and try to cut a channel in it to use a flat blade screw driver to turn it out......

Take a slightly smaller socket and use a hammer to bash it on. You should have enough traction then to unscrew and replace it.
