Brake lights wont come on???
I just replaced the rear bulbs on my 93 teg. and now my brake lights dont come on...which means i cant get it out of park without using the key lock...
anyone have suggestions as to why this may have happened? |

Is it possible you shorted it out and poped a fuse? That would be my first guess if none of them work. Another possility is did you use the correct bulb type? Some of them have 2 connectors on the back of the bulbs and some have only one...

it's the 2 pronged one. i doiuble checked.
i may have shorted the fuse. do you know where it's located? i searched but couldn't find a shorted one. maybe i missed it? |

Notta clue... Do you have a repair manual? They usually have a fuse diagram in there...

It may be the relay of the brake lights, normally, they are located in the back lights, follow the brake light wires to the relay it should be within the light assy.
