Does anyone have a copy of the new Autocar magazine? What does the article say?
Does the article have any more pictures with it?

I've posted a bigger pic of that cover here http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t88305.html

There is only 2 pictures of the GT-R in the mag.

Article mainly talks about the framework, the delays and the 4WD, nothing really new though.

Americans............

The true japanese sports car will never come to this filthy place called america. Dont worry.............even if it comes here it will be stripped of its japanese sports car roots and be toned down into something that will have to compete with crap that they make here.

this is going to rock

So i have heard that we for sure are getting the new gtr and thats a good thing. but my guess is that they will soften the suspension for crappy us roads with all the stupid potholes but at least we will get all the power (400 from what i hear) and what the hell do we have on the american market that can touch that? (not much) and its got the cool-ass gizmos like ATTESSA-EST that bitch-slapped the american companies tech guys who think heated seats are cutting edge.
american companies will (once more) suck the tail pipes of a "ricer burner" haha solid rear axle suckers!!!! Respect

what's up with the anti american hostility?
the mods here are either US or OZ mods.
get over it.

no one ever said that true US sports cars won't go to japan and get stripped of their roots.
why you gotta try and bring the ruckus?
hope you get banned if you haven't been.

so much anger and hostility on this forum lately.

aaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllsooooooo...

if you're gonna compare to US cars that can "compete" for the suggested price range of what we'll pay for a skyline over here,
you can't really beat a zo6.
or a viper if you want to step up a bit.
or one of the new mustangs.
or...

and those cars don't need "smart" steering to aid the driver.

not that nissan's systems aren't ingenius and pretty cool, but the US cars don't have em and can still outhandle it.

i'm sorry for everyone that thinks the skyline is god, but it's not.
it's a car.
sorry.
and i know all the skyline owners here will agree with me.
it's a car, like anything else.

AHHhhhhhhhhhh the Corvette Z06.

price: 50k or less
power:405hp baby!

Skyline GT-R

price: somewhere north of 80k
power: about 330hp

The corvette is more aerodynamic, weighs less and for the same price of the GT-R you could get a Lingenfelter vette that outhandles the skyline, has 650hp thanks to the twinturbos,20mpg,and tops out at 225mph...

Gee....if I had the money wich one would I get???

the AMERICAN CHEVROLET CORVETTE!

HA!

i didn't want to go there really.

if we get the new gt-r over here, it'll be 400 or so hp, and from what has been tossed around, zo6 or higher pricing.

i'll still take the vette thanks.

that was my point.

it's just a car.
