Re: RB25DET Datsun 240z

I tried to make simplified fuel injector wiring/plumbing

-wired each injector,
-made a fuel inlet line and return line
-also added the brake booster vacuum to the intake manifold

Nice to see more progress. The engine is starting to take shape. Its going to be a beautiful replica. The fuel lines look spot on.

I like how you even got the weld in the "hot" intercooler piping. This is freaking awesome!

In the last set of pics he posted, rsxse240 is referring to pipe coming from the turbo compressor outlet (right side of the motor). You can see in the 1:1 reference pic, 675datsun's friend used several sections of pipe to make the intercooler setup, so there are noticeable welded sections. This is what he's replicated in the scaled version.

@ 675datsun- On that same note, it looks like you've replicated the transition sizing of the pipe as well. Great work. Can't wait to see it finished.

Re: RB25DET Datsun 240z

I added the valve cover decal, something I've never done before is print my own decals...it turned out okay.
Also added the breather on top, the warning label on the radiator cap.
In the last pic hopefully you see the "welds" on the hot pipe

Re: RB25DET Datsun 240z

Working on the dash, I added the old-school Auto-Meter memory tach, stock speedo and Defi gauges, a bit janky but it kind of works
