No, please don't take offense. I was just making a smart remark about it looking a little suspicious.

I do appreciate the heads up on the fantastic kit/manufacturer. It is very difficult to find any company that will work with it's customers like that.

As for building models, I do build...just not as often as I'd like. I was merely stating that I don't build race cars. My focus is more on customs and cars that you would stand a chance of seeing on the streets. I like full custom interiors, trick paint jobs, bodywork and custom suspension. I have respect for those that like to build racecars, I just hate building them and having people nit pick the inaccuracies and telling me how I did it wrong. Can't get that if it's a custom car! haha

I've been considering building some race cars into drift cars or something that you would see at autocross events...streetworthy with full race interior and all the go fast goodies of a race car.

    Dear rsxse240,

It is indeed a "fine line between hobby and madness" - I'm pretty sure which side of the line I'm on but am a bit concerned about you.

No, my post was not spam, payola or an infomercial. It was biased. I'm glad you caught that.

My intent was to post a helpful hint, to show my good experience with a supplier to the public to alleviate any fear of price gouging if they damage an important part of this expensive kit. Did you catch my mention on the cost of this kit? Not a good point for an infomercial.

You will often contact a seller about a replacement part and be stunned at its cost or the S&H of the part. Even though I offered to pay for the items, they ask for no payment.

If you go the website I so craftily supplied, you will find a pdf file of the parts list and instruction manual for item MD:29011.

In your communiqué, you mentioned you are not a model builder. Try one. It might relieve some of your pent up hostility.

    Regards, The Grey Wolf
