Re: TA22 Celica, OLD SKOOL BAYBEEEEE!!

just my opinion but those 18's are rather large for that car. i personally don't like putting anything larger than 16's on old japanese cars, whether 1:24 or 1:1. the other wheels don't look too bad, they're different from what you might usually see on an old celica like that. your model looks great so far, i need to get started on both of mine. i have both a 1600GT 2-door and 2000GT liftback.

Re: TA22 Celica, OLD SKOOL BAYBEEEEE!!

18" dont blend with old skool cars, IMHO. 13's or 14s with dish is the way to go. but it is your model and have fun with it.

i myself am a toyota lover, especially toyota old cars, and those cars are plentiful where i live. your kit eminds me of the celica i use to drive some time back. running with 2tg and 13x8 SSR rims. now im driving a 1975 ke35 corolla with some 13x8 enkeis.

here are my two babies(before the ta22 was sold)

Re: TA22 Celica, OLD SKOOL BAYBEEEEE!!

hey all, i have, at long last, finally made up my mind on the wheels, i like the meisters, but they look at home on the gtr. i picked the 3rd set of wheels, deep dish, 5 spoke wheels, lookin alot like old-skool simmons wheels, as i painted the centres gold, pics soon
