One thing everyone may have missed is he/she has only posted 4 times. One would think this particular individual has nothing better to do than to stir shit.

It is too bad he/she will probably never come back to even reply. I would however love to give this person a go. Being the sporting man I am I would even give him/her a decent head start. 1/4 mile, 1 mile, rolling not fussed.

OK

My friend had a 79' Silverado stepside with a fiberglass rear(fenders & bed). He had a 454 cui. engine no mods just pipes staight out the back, and i smoked him on many occasions. So, this guy has been racing the typical 16 yr. old in a civic w/ 1 or 2 mods. And now he thinks he's John Force. Bring It!

...........polygon did you just stand up for imports........I'm touched........I don't know what to say.........

I think what we have here is a troll... As Razortgtst commented, only 4 posts... Also, his name is sikilla, which I assume to mean SI(as in honda) KILLA(as in, something someone who drives a 454 chevy truck would NEVER type).

Not to mention he mentioned his "mods" which I have never heard anyone truck related say...

LOL, thats right. There are plenty of imports that I love, I am just not a fan of Honda, I guess sometimes I am just too anti-honda it makes me seem like an import hater, but I really do like imports and will have quite a few if I have the money.

I'm thinking that a truck hauling what i think you'd be hauling with a 454, you'd have a hell of a time doing any good against a true imported performance car like a Skyline or a 300ZX.

Your ass end has no weight, you'd sit and spin your tires while he's rocketing from 1st to 2nd, you'd be shifting into second when he's 1/2 way through 4th and on and on and on.

Don't claim success too early, but also don't pick fights you can't win. I've never lost to an import, but i also won't race one that's out of my league. Pick your races smart, and enjoy the ride!

Actually, mine did! Thank you for dredging up that painful memory!

I'll tell you what has jaded me on hondas... the fast and the furious, and the rice epidemic which has struck the west coast...
