u can look on ebay and try to find some old porsche, volvo, saab, etc. cars. i was just showing an example of the ford 7.3 turbo how they can be used in a civic, etc. i didn't mean its the best one to go cuz the time it takes to spin one of those things is forever (you'll need lots of power in order to do so)
I think the turbo on my car is also a T3, look for a wrecked 280zx turbo at a junkyard, pull the turbo off it for cheap

I think our man needs to learn how a turbocharger is setup to begin with. He doesn't quite understand how a turbocharger helps increase power. Click here for some good articles on how a super/turbo charger system works.

I choose to go with the Turbo from a Ford 2.3L, which I belive is from the cobra/mustang. It works well with the integras, and it has better performance then other turbos, with a small wastegate allready with it.

thanks for all the answers, this was verry helpfull.

thanks agian to all.

which turbo?

you should look into a first gen mitsubishi eclipse turbo, 14B, with T-D05 flange. the can efficiently put out up to like 20 psi but they spool a little slow.

You could also get a 2nd gen eclipse turbo a T25 which spools very fast.

both of these turbo's are a very cheap alternative to the large T30 (Ok not that big but large enough)

You will need to get an adapter for the manifold to the turbo. Get a t2 or t4 Turbo off ebay, Get an intercooler if you are not on a budget. People say you don't need an intercooler if you are pushing low psi but its still good to give you a denser charge. Go to a Muffler shop and have them custom mae a down pipe. Make sure they cut and weld peices together and not crush bend the piping for you will increase the restriction on the exhaust and increase spool time. Get a type of Fuel management system to work with the turbo get boost controller to make sure you are always in control of how many psi you are pushing get a blow off valve to release air when the throttle plate is closed. I would say you are looking around 600-900 bucks easily. Good luck!
