ive seen cars like that at work, 300,000 miles original t. belt and water pump, 160,000 original drive belts..... they seem to last for ever.... i'd try the new t. belt and water pump then start it, if it bent valves there gonna have to pull the head and replace valves and what not.....i like it when cars come in with bent valves, thats where i pick most of mine up so cheap.....good luck

Why go ZC? SOHC VTEC is around the same price and more reliable. I have about 65k now and my timing belt hasnt been replaced. I don't think it is worth it for me to do because I am doing an SOHC VTEC swap in a couple months.

Ummm... mine has a factory belt in it too - I had a genuine Honda one put in last week

Looks exactly the same as the one that came out - right down to the markings

I believe the correct change interval to be 90k miles.

Gates' web site has lots of info on change intervals and whether a car will bash valves or not.
