It's true, power is power torque is torque and so on. But, I also do have a perferance as to how the power to made. I mean, an electric motor can make just as much power as some gas engines (SOME) but that doesn't mean I like it. You get what I'm sayin?

Also, isn't the enine in the SVT a derivative of one of the engines in Ford's pickup line? If so, then it's not better than the fact that the Engine in the SRT-10 Ram is from a Viper.

dodge sucks
who ever thinks there hemi could beat a lightning is crazy, i've stomped those numerous times. dodge comes a little lower so they can some times takes turns harder but who cares its a truck. We have the wrong vehicles if we want start burying turns. Also the srt-10 starts at over $10k more than the lightnings set price of $33k. does anyone k now what you can do to a lightning with over $10k. its ridiculous. If people want bragg about having more power w/o a s/c then look at the other two cylinders on the srt-10, oh and have fun spending $$ to make that viper motor any faster.

why did dodge leave the VIPER valve covers on a RAM? i think the 2005 lightning will be a better comparison. you cant compare a lightning, which you see everyday as daily drivers, to a expensive "truck". well you can, but i dont think its fair. i think the HEMI, silverado SS, and lightning would be in the same class. about the extra supercharger...you know ford cant do anything original, so they slap the same engine in every car!
