Re: hoods

I cant speak for Soyo, but the 1st gen is a good suggestion. Although the live axle setup bothers me a little.

And as far as power goes, an underpowered car can sometimes be an advantage for a beginning drifter, as it will force the driver to use other techniques to maintain the drift. My main problem is I drift a TII, so I tend to do alot of power-overs.

Re: hoods

yea the first gen would be cool but I'd rather have an AE86 partially because not as many people know what they are, plus I don't really want two of the same cars, unless they are exactly the same...

"not as many people know what they are"

Yeah..... about 4 years ago.

a 2nd gen or a 1st gen 7 sounds nice. you're gonna have to do some major work on an ae86 to get it to drift.

Re: hoods

I don't know, it'll be awhile before I look into that, but I just want a cool little project car, who knows maybe I'll find a cheap 240sx with a blown engine and can put in a new engine, that would be my dream, a rx-7 and a 240sx *drool*
