Ah, its about time
Williams happens to be 1 of my favourite teams in F1 and I am sure you will do a good job of it as you have done with your previous projects.

Will watch for your progress

Well Thesaint111 I starting masking mine last night and for me who is primarily new to this it was a rough ride to say the least. I started by masking and painting the white, tonight I will be masking and painting the TS-51 Telefonica blue. Hope your having better success than I.

you have masked the white ??? You can paint the whole body white and then mask the white parts and paint blue!

today I started with the engine. I removed these plastik wires and changed them in "real" wires!! BTW everything fits perfect ..... Tamiya quality ) !!

I hope my first order arrives tomorrow so i can start painting !!!

Thesaint111, those wires look excellent and it really adds to the realism. As far as the painting goes I realized it was kinda insane to mask to paint the white so I did paint the whole thing white and then I masked to paint it blue. I have decided that I am not going to follow the color scheme exactly because I want the tail wing to be white instead of the correct color blue. What do you think good or bad idea?

:22yikes: Good grief! Did you just order all of those paints in one go?

What's in the little brown boxes? Looks like a multi-pack of acrylic paints, if so how many do you get in a box and where did you get them?

ohhh i have big problems with the carbon decals at the engine, it's a painful progress with the iregular shape ........! But i hope it comes out "good" ! and i replaced the stock drive shaft with a copper tube and burned half of it at a candle to obtain the heat effect!

I hope you can see it in the pics, it's difficult to take a photo where you can see it good! But it looks great

A already great model with the help of the Studio 27 detail set, a classic work is on his way.
Keep us very well informed about the progresses and steps of the construction of this baby.

Can you actually see all the carbon fibre on the Williams in real life because a lot of the teams actually do paint black over the carbon fibre like it says it the tamiya instructions?
