Intake and Air Filter are cheap and you should see a reasonable gain in power- next put in exhaust, extractor, cat. converter and muffler upgrades (Or in short the full exhaust system)- those are good for suffiecient gains.


OR save your dosh and swap in a B16a or (maybe) B18C

intake can be homemade from materials at homedepot and just buy a K&N cone filter to fit ur homemade pipe. lots of websites have "how to's" on homemade piping and it's been proven to be as effective as aftermarket bought one. just have to be able to work with ur hands.
intake wouldn't add much hp just 1-5 at most, but it's the basics, i/h/e and u get the sound. u'll get more power out of header and/or exhaust.
engine swap is gonna cost u a lot of friggin money. and if ur gonna do a swap, go for at least a type-r engine. remember, stickers and spoilers and rims do not add hp. haha, and aluminum spoilers aren't a neccessity on the cars because it's a front wheel drive.
