Yeah going into another drive postion (4LO) by itself plus the 4WD was working is what has me all confused now. like you said before the clutches are worn out so thats what i left it at as being. So i thought i would just post this Episoe to see what opinion i would get. cause im confused now LOL.

the c0374 dtc is the circuit issue you have from the codes taken earlier.

I would check all the wiring under the vehicle going to / from the transfercase. then I would check all those connectors, and wires under the fuse box under the hood driverside. connector 151 has wires controlling/feedback of the tranfercase. wires are small and will break easy . insulation also is weak !
