97 Silverado leaking t-case

Transfer case is leaking out the back where the slip yoke goes in. Have already replaced the rear seal in the T-case but the slip yoke has a groove wore in it from where the seal normally rides. You would have thought that GM would have made the yoke harder so the seal would not wear a groove in it. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem????

try seals from different manufacturers...I do prefer GM seals in this area but I have found on another vehicle the seal from aftermarket was different ...
