![]() To sum it up, granulated sugar is not soluble in gasoline so most of it will just drop to the bottom of the tank like sand would, and the remainder won't get past the fuel filter. Assuming you know there is sugar in your tank you get it cleaned, and you replace the fuel filter. The latter should be done periodically anyway, sugar or no sugar.
