1995 Blazer dies after warmed up

1995 Chevrolet Blazer 4 Door 4x4 vin W CPI Horizontal Distributor

The car will drive for about 10 minutes and then die, wont hold an idle, NORMALLY. the last thing the car did was not warmed up at all and immediately had the issue, wouldnt idle and wouldnt rev when the throttle was pushed, it was also smoking really badly...

everyone seems to point to a new fuel pump, but right now it wont start and I can still hear the fuel pump!!

there were codes for a map sensor, and camshaft position sensor, I replaced the map sensor and got a whole new distributor with CPS, I have a new fuel filter on there and everything

The car will also run without a problem for awhile, this past week it ran for 3 days without any issue.

this issue all started one day about a month ago when driving down the highway and the car died, and wouldnt start back up for nothing, waited 5 minutes and it started, and then went 50 feet and died... the car wouldnt start for the rest of the day after that, without starter fluid, and then it wouldnt run for more than 1 second.

COULD THIS BE THE ECU?!
the car would die regardless of how its driven, it will die at idle..

Right now the car will only crank without starting, and it doesnt crank very steadily, it will hickup and slow down in cranking.

I can only hope I can get help from here.

Re: 1995 Blazer dies after warmed up

Check fuel pressure and leakdown: Ignition in RUN position, engine off, fuel pump running... Fuel pressure must be 60psi to 66psi and must remain above 55psi for 3 to 5 minutes after the pump shuts off. Post your results.
