93 Blazer dies when warm
I have a 93 Blazer that runs well when cold. As soon as the engine warms up it begins to stutter or skip terribly as though it was running on only 5 cylinders. After a few minutes more, it will stall and will not restart until it is cold. Also, sometimes the dash lights will flicker on and off rapidly after it stalls. Again, all is well after the engine cools. Any ideas?

Re: 93 Blazer dies when warm
Check your battery voltage when not running and monitor the battery voltage with a voltmeter as it starts to studder.
If you notice a bad voltage drop, I would see if the alternator is heating up, failing and the truck will be draining the battery dry trying to keep the truck running.

Yes, the ignition coil was bad.
