2000 LS2 v6 dies after warm up

FIRST TIME TO POST ON THIS SIGHT.
2000 LS2
V6 DOHC
AUTO TRANS
THE PROBLEM I AM HAVING, IS CAR STARTS FINE WHEM COLD AFTER DRIVING APPROX 3 TO 5 MILES CAR DIES THEN CAR TURNS OVER BUT WILL NOT START. AFTER WAITING 45 MINUTES TO 1 HR CAR STARTS. THEN GOES ANOTHER 3 TO 5 MLES AND DIES AGAIN. WAS ABLE TO LIMP TO AUTO ZONE AND PULLED CODES AS FOLLOWS
PO727-NO VOLTAGE FROM ENGINE SPEED INPUT
PO 355 MALFUNCTION EXISTS IN PRIMARY OR SECONDARY CIRCUITS FOR IGNITION COIL "E"
P0152 02 SENSOR

I HAVE CHECKED THE FUEL PRESSURE AT THE SCHRADER VALVE
ENGINE KEY ON 40 LBS ENGINE RUNNING 50 LBS.

QUESTION????

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE COIL PACK IS FAULTY WOULD IT CAUSE THE ENGINE TO SHUT DOWN AFTER IT WARMS UP?

ANY OTHER FEED BACK WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

STUCK LIKE CHUCK IN TEXAS.

Hate to break it to you, the LS2 was a C6 vette motor, V-8. also the Lt 1 and the Ls1 was a camaro V-8 motor. you probably have an l36 motor. any way it probably your sensers.

LS2 is the model, not the engine

Re: 2000 LS2 v6 dies after warm up

<slaps forehead> Why is that guy even in the L-series forums if he's talking about 'Vette motors? Why would anyone have an LS motor in a Saturn L-series (except hardcore drag racers who have a lot of time on their hands and still wouldn't be in this forum)?

I've actually seen that car before in some guy's home video (the L-Series cop dragster), and we went to the guy's homepage and saw the project L-Series unfold. It's pretty cool! But, like I said, drag racers.

Had the same problem. Crankshaft Position sensor. $84 dollars at autozone and very easy removal and installation

Re: 2000 LS2 v6 dies after warm up

Saturn's v-6 is noted for the camshaft sensor are junk. They found something that makes them a ton of money. But there should be a recall on them.

Saturns are the lowest grade GM products made. The tolerances are so loose and the cheapest materials throughout.

I had somewhat the same problem. I had to replace the mass air flow sensor.
