Tamiya 24298 Ferrari 360 modena

This Tamiya Modena seems to me that it has a prepainted body?
Just been looking at whats in the box on some sites and it sure looks like the body has been painted a gloss red.

If so whats the finish like?
Karl

As far as I know it's molded in red plastic, not pre painted.

24298 it's just a re-release of 360 Modena with a new box art.
Content is the same than 24228 (original release of 360).
So there's no painted body...

If it were all molded as one piece, a person could get away with just a clear coat and polish. The Red plastic on that kit is near perfect and almost needs no paint, except for detailing.

Thanks for that.
It really looks very glossy in the pictures.
It's a tossup between this kit or Fujimi kit.
Cheers
