Tamiya Ferrari 360 Modena (Yellow) completed

Hi,

I posted a week ago asking opinions on the interior colour.

well, the car is finished now, it was a therapeutic build after my Jordan191 to get me back in the mood ready for my planed FW24 super detail build and also a long term build of the 1/12 Ferrari 641/2 F190 super detailed.

I have added no details to the kit its strait out of the box and try to keep it clean

hope you like!

the inside

My only dislike is the black around the lights is to thick.

Amazing build. I only have one comment is that panel lines would make this car amazing. Otherwise great paintjob! I look forward to seeing your FW24 (I will be building the F189 soon).

Just great work, love the clean build, looks astonishing real, please post some outdoor pics. The interior matches the yellow afterall!

Very nice!

I think panel lines would make the headlight surrounds look more in-scale.

Cheers

I will have to take better photos because the panal lines stand out much better to the eyes.

I not sure what colour panel lines to use? if i do them

I think black would be to strong.

my partner said "why you done black around the head lights?"
my reply " its the rubber seal"

Cheers

A dark grey for the panel lines?

Great looking build! The interior looks terrific. How about some engine pics?

If you do highlight the panel lines, the key is be subtle. It only takes a little (very little!) to get it to look right, and too much will ruin it. Color is not importaint- your eye can't make out the color of a panel line- only a line darker than the rest of the bodywork. For a yellow body, I'd use light or medium grey- not dark grey!! I personally like to use white and black India ink- easy to mix, easy to thin, easy to apply, and easy to clean up if your not happy with the results. Start with white, and mix in a touch of black to get a grey color. Thin with water if necissary. Apply with a pointed brush, wipe away any exess. Good luck!

Absolutly beautiful!
Yes, the interior is very suitable to the yellow body, and both look marvelous!
I cannot wait to see your next project.
