turbo help

Hey i have a b16a engine and was wondering if i turboed this engine would it need to be intercooled? how much psi could i run safely for a daily driver? and what size of turbo do i want if im jus tlooking for quick acceleration and some drag racing? like what a/r and trim?

it doesnt have to be intercooled, just better if it is. dailt driving i would go 6psi, and maybe go a little higher once you do a little tuning. i take it you have a jdm b16? i think they have higher compression so be careful about detonation before you run higher boost. for daily driving it seems like t3/t4 turbo is most popular

what is a good turbo for the jdm b16a? lik what brand?

if you want a kit drag makes em for swaps. you could save money and do it yourself too. heres a link to a stage 1 gen 3 drag kit for 92 civic w/ b16...
