turbo help

ok, i just got my turbo today. i bought it off of ebay, and this thing is pretty big. i don't know the specs, trim etc. on this, but i don't think its going to fit in my engine bay, even with a turbo manifold without taking the a/c out. i have no experience with turbos but this thing seems to take up the whole space in front of the block. also i need to spin the inlet of the turbo around so it'll face down or up or whatever, because right now it is faced toward the block if i bolt it on with the downpipe facing the drivers side of the car. anybody know how to do this? i heard you loosen the bolts, but i dunno which ones. any help would be great. thanks

I would say put it between the engine and firewall if at all possible. Though I know very little about your engine.

anybody? can you guys tell me where i could find info on rotating the compressor and the oil inlets/outlets, etc. i loosened most of the bolts on the compressor side but there are two bolts holding the wastegate bracket on to the compressor that are impossible to get to with my wrench/socket. i know somebody knows where, please tell. thanks

LOL... the exhaust manifold of a Civic is between the radiator and the block, not the block and the firewall. Your Chrysler and my mom's VW have the turbo between the block and the firewall so I know what you were thinking.

1st off, what type of turbo is it? is there a clamp holding the cartridge and exhaust housing together? if so take off the clamp, pry the two apart, rotate, clamp together and your done. If not, let us know
