Building Question!!

Hey... remember me.. well im buildin my itr, and i was having trouble with it and it is NOT coming out very good at all! Testors paint is soo junky and i can't get it to come out Even, shiny and smooth. I will post pics when its done*Almost*. well anyways.. i picked up this other model for 7 bucks, a ferrari testerosa and i really want to do a GREat job on it.. i was wondering in wat order do u build the car.. such as.. do u paint the outside body first, attach mirrors, spoilers... then build the engine/suspension/interior.. or WHAT ORDER do u do them in.. i always seem to mess up my models like that...i build to fast and always make a careless mistake. LIKE with my itr... i dropped my cement on the paint and it got screwed up! so bad so i had to paint it like 88888 coats on it, and now it looks like CRAP... can anyone give me some tips!!!!! by the way.. here are some pics of it... but u prob won't be able to see alot cause my webcam sucks!

So far So good...

You've done great so far! A suggestion for your interior: If you use gloss colors to paint it, Spray some Testor's Dullcote on the paint after it's dry to give it a more realistic look. Keep up the good work; I like that color scheme!!!

I always paint the bodies first because I cannot get into building the rest if I don't get a nice paint job. I do test fit chassis and ride height and how the interior fits before I paint anything. Try Tamiya's Spray paints and if you use one of their metallics clear coat the paint with their clear within an hour of spraying the color coat(no need to sand color coat.) try some of Duplicolor's metallics too(make sure you prime bfore using these)and their clear. Stay away from Testor's. Dullcoat and the metallizer's are the only good stuff they make.
