Lil engine building question

My Ls is approaching 165k and was recently hit by someone who cant drive so i was considering an engine mod

I was wonderin if yo ucould take the head of of a 94+ Integra N/VTEC and slap it on the 93engine. The B18B has about 10 more horses than the B18A and will have a hella less miles. I figured it would be a fairly cheap exchange. Im not wanting to do a swap or anything.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Yes it will fit fine but that is alot of work for just 12hp. What year is your teg? If it is a 92 or 93m it already has 140hp so you would only be gaining 2hp for all that work. And as far as it having leass miles your bottom end will still have 165k on it unless you replace with new stuff. I think it would not be worth the time and money the gasket set alone will caost more than it is worth. But it will work if that is what you are wanting to do. I would suggest putting in some new pistons and rods like maybe some forged pistons and some good rods. Then when it is back together put a 100 shot of N20 on it.

I see what youre saying. My car came with 130 though the 140 was in the 94 and up integras. I was thinking along the lines of ok rebuild topend is well over $1000 or have a newer top end with less mile for alot less. It does make sense to wait till i can get the pistons and rods and stuff sounds like a plan. Thanks for your help LS/VTEC would run me over 2K not looking to spend that much

If your car is a 93 like it you say it is in your description than you have 140hp and the 94up have 142hp, Just a quick fact The 94up have a nice bit more torque though.
