The header I bought says 50 state emissions legal, wouldn't that mean Carb exempt?

i would think so, but without a CARB EO number on it, they think its not.

50 state legal means it has a CARB tag on it. Don't worry about it. As for exhaust. You could take it off and still pass smog. They're worried about everything before the cat. The exhaust is after the cat so it doesn't matter. Exhausts just have to pass the sound level test shit they have. That's a whole different story though.

yea and melt said his header does not have a CARB number on it. Even though you can have an ad that says fifty state legal, if the header dont have it on it, they might not let it pass.
