a supercharged mustang would beat on the evo.
i thought we had that figured out. and it's centrifugal, so the s/c would be making great high end power. some serious newbage going on here though. |

I think weve established its a drivers race. Both are super quick. The new SVT has traction control right? Its gonna come down to the driver. I think it might take a little more skill to launch the evo right to take full advantage of the AWD.

Around here, stock Mustang GT's (from 1999 and newer) run the quarter mile in the low 14's, and the average Evo runs 13.7 (fastest stock one I've seen runs 13.5, but most aren't stock). So, I imagine that a stock Mustang GT with an aftermarket supercharger would be able to keep up with, if not beat, the Evo. It depends a lot on the drivers, but I'd give the Mustang the upper hand.
