Oil leak

95 Odyssey leaking oil. Mechanic said it was the camshaft seal and replaced it. Still leaked. Then he said it was the valve cover gasket and replaced it. Still leaks. I knew it wasn't the gasket, but he's a client of mine and I did not want to tell him he was wrong and he replaced it at no charge. Any special trick to installing the camshaft seal on these Oddys?

Anyone run into this type of problem before?

Seems the leak started soon after the timing chain replacement was preformed. Just a drop or two overnight at first that gradually got worse. Seems the oil leaks heaviest when the engine is started cold. It does not leak once it reaches operating temp. Suggests to me that a seal or something is expanding and sealing properly at operating temp but not until then.

Any ideas? Thanks

i am having similar trouble with my 95 integra.

the cam shaft seals were replaced and the valve gasket and still some oil leaks which seem to come from them.

But recently, my neighbor took a look and said the oil filler cap supposed to have a gasket, and he was right, mines didn't.

i haven't gotten the gasket yet, but seems like it could be the cause of oil leaking down the valve cover and making it look like a cam or valve seal problem.

i'll try to update when i get the gasket for the oil filler cap
