Both good choices. They react very quickly. They are both meant for lower boost applications (16 psi or less) but work very well. If you want over 16 psi and want to stay with greddy, then get the type r. Don't plan on running this with anything lower than 16-18 psi though...It's got a stiff spring.

yeah i plan to not go past 12 until some mods...so i think the SS woul be nice....i wonder if they got some recirculating kits.....

yo, I'm turbo charging my '90 soch 240sx too, got a t04 with a .82A/R. goin to run only 6psi of the waste gate.
I should have it done by ending next month. I'm expecting about 215whp and high 13's to flat 14's down the 1/4 mile.
Keep posted on your project and I'll do the same.

HKS is not bad, unlike spring loaded BOV it will not leak boost. My Greedy (whoosh) leaked boost. I don’t know but I had now problem with it!
