Too good to be true?????

i've got a 93 teq ls and my header is shot. the double layer piping on the header is rattling like a mo fo in low rpm's. so i go onto ebay to check out some headers. i found one for $83!!!!! yes that's right. its a dc-s ceramic header. here is the item # 2449890502 is this actually worth it? cause ive seen them go for much more. and the guy seems to be a power seller. let me know. thnx

Re: Too good to be true?????

I believe the "-s" stands for DC Style which means its a crap knock off and likely not ceramic at all. But if you need a header fast adn don't want to spend much cash it will probably work. My preference is always to do shit right the first time so i don't have to do it over so I would skip this one and get a real one. But your move...

The people who have those for sale on ebay put dc-s hoping people would think they are dc sports and buy them. I would say buy either dc-sports or a greddy header and save yourself a whole bunch of trouble in the long run.

Re: Too good to be true?????

Yea that one is painted it is obveous. Get a DC Sports and be done with it. I don't think I would recomend the Greddy though I saw some header tests on the net and the greddy header did poorly. Try a Hytech if you don't like DC Sports they actually did better than DC Sports in the test .
