Question Which brand of shocks is best for '97 E320?

I need to have the fronts replaced. the benz dealer wouoldn't give me any info, except to say it'd cost $1500. I've heard that bilstein's are good. any advice is appreciated!

shocks for E320

The Bilstein strut/shock is the best for your model and all other mercedes. If you want to buy them for less, call Rusty Cullen at 800-741-5252 and save over $100! P.

Bilstein makes struts/shocks as an o.e. supplier to MB but no original equipmnet shock lasts 8 or more years. Any decent garage can install shocks/struts and it would cost a lot less than what a Mercedes dealer charges. P.

Mark, you had better go back a few threads and see the note to buy parts from www.BUYMBparts.com, they are MUCH less than your supplier.

Another good source for Bilstein is www.shox.com
They ship from San Diego, where Bilstein USA is located.
