best radar detector

I was just wondering what radar detectors you have and if you wished you had gotten a different one or happy with your current one, I am going ot fly womwhere soon and drive a cra back, and I know they arent 100% guaranteeing me no tickets but im sure it will help, IM looking at the cobra 9160, 9870, BEL 930, any others you reccomend?

If you can, just get one of the expensive ones. Its hard to say if they work. I had one for several months and never got a ticket. It got stolen in march, and I still havent gotten a ticket

Valentine One is probably the best detector out there actually has arrows to show you where to look for the cop. Another really good on is the K40 they actually had (not sure if they still do or not) a model that was built into your dash and had the sensors in the front and rear bumper that way you didn't have to worry about hiding it should you get pulled over Those are a couple high end ones and with those they aren't cheap but you get what you pay for and I don't think you'll find a CREDITABLE bad review of either of those brands.

Um, no! Valentine One does have the arrows but if you know radar and how it works, you will also know how much the radar signal bounces off of everything as it is in use. Those arrows that the Valentine One has will only tell you where the last bounce was from before your detector picks up on the signal!

Don't get me wrong, Valentine One is one of the best radar detectors out there but it is not the best you can buy. Go ahead and spend all that $$$ on it if you want but you can do so much better for less $$$.

if you live in cali dont even bother. cops arent required to use radar anymore, and only like 1/4 of them even do. they are allowed to estimate your speed and write it on your ticket, words from a police officer when i got my second ticket.
