Question AnyOne have a new Silverado with quadrasteer

Just wondering if you have a Silverado truck equiped with the quadrasteer. If so do you like it? If not would you want to have it if you were going to purchase a new PU.

I have heard that having this option reduces the maximum trailer weight ratings on some of them, yet one of their selling features is that quadrasteer enhances control of the steering when pulling a trailer.

Would like some opinions or experiences anyone may have.

Don't personaly have one but have driven several of them. Does take a little getting used to but it is prety cool system. One real problem I see is the whole damn thing has to come off if the cover gasket leaks. As of now not much is serviceable on this system and I don't know about the payload but I'll check that in the morning and get back to you.

quadrasteer

I love the quadrasteer, and will never buy another truck without it. I went from a 2001 silverado x cab short bed to a 2003 silverado crew cab short bed w/quadrasteer and the difference is utterly amazing. It turns on a dime, and trailer pulling is a dream, I've pulled just a car trailer with it, and a large trailer with a bobcat on it, and the stability and maneuverability is awesome. Highly recommended, especially with the $2000.00 quadrasteer rebate now beong offered it goes from a $4495 option to a $2495 option, what a bargain!
