type r water pump

anybody know if i can use a type r water pump on my b18a? also will a b16a header fit and wats the difference between the b18a header and the b16a?

#1 Why would you bother??????? It's not as if it runs a higher peak-flow or anything.

#2 Yes and "not much". A B18C5 is very different however and requires some chopping into your front crossmember to fit in a 4G. Reason being 4 long primaries (?) in a 2x2 config - off the top of my head - I know they are a pain to fit.

well i was thinking about replacing my waterpump before i put my engine in, and my brother had an type r waterpump so i was just wondering if its the same, i would use a b18a waterpump if i had one.

also same reason for the header question i dont have one but my brother had a b16 header, but i think ill just buy a dc 4-2-1.
